Canada's Getting Colder~Richer Than Music

RICHER THAN MUSIC

On the evening of Thursday, February 18th, 2010, stakeholders of Canadian hip hop culture from across the country gathered on the airwaves of CHRY 105.5FM to record a live documentary broadcast exploring the impact of Canadian hip hop on Canada’s music heritage.

Using an exciting mix of new media technology, this broadcast documentary was simulcast on the FM dial, ROGERS DIGITAL CABLE CH. 945, and included live video stream to a number of Canada's leading web forums for Canadian urban/hip hop culture. Highlighting commentary from visible stakeholders from across Canada, this documentary will do much to establish the reality of Canada's evolving music culture and the rich history of contributions that Canada's hip hop scene has made to forming the cultural music expereinces of Canadians for over 25 years.

The show began with a panel discussion on notable music contributions to Canadian Hip Hop culture PANELISTS: DJ Channel 9, Muziklee Inzane, DJ Wristpect, Grand Whiz

& OUT-OF-TOWN PANELISTS: DJ Arems, DJ Kwite Sane

Followed by the Panel discussion reviewing hip hops presence in art & culture across Canada
